Analysing the initial system
IDENTIFYING PAIN POINTS
These are a few of the product's previous screens.
At first glance, several usability issues became apparent: a cluttered interface, inconsistent organization, duplicated user paths, and an overall experience that required unnecessary effort to complete common tasks.
To understand the root of these problems, I mapped every key user flow across the platform. This revealed unnecessary decision points and opportunities to simplify the navigation. From there, I restructured the experience to consolidate overlapping flows and create a more intuitive interface.
Beyond improving usability, the redesign also created a stronger visual foundation by aligning the UI with the company's identity, resulting in a product that felt both more cohesive and easier to use.

DESK RESEARCH, BENCHMARKING
Research

After identifying the main issues in the product, I did additional research to validate which features were worth keeping and how similar products approached the same challenges.
Looking at other solutions helped me understand common patterns, identify opportunities for improvement, and avoid repeating mistakes that were already common in the market. I used these insights to support my design decisions.
This research gave me a clearer direction for the redesign and helped ensure that every change addressed both user needs and the client's business goals.
Initial Proposal
FIRST DESIGNS

The first concept focused on validating the new visual direction and the overall user flow. At this stage, the goal wasn't to perfect every detail, but to make sure the experience was moving in the right direction before investing time in refining the interface.
After several review sessions and feedback from the client, the design evolved significantly. Each round of revisions helped simplify the experience, improve usability, and refine the interface until it aligned with both user needs and the company's vision.
Final Design
The final result is an ESG platform with a clearer structure, more intuitive navigation, and a consistent visual language across the entire product.
By simplifying key workflows and improving the interface's overall organization, the platform supports day-to-day tasks more efficiently while remaining flexible enough to grow with the business. This project wasn't just a visual redesign—it was an opportunity to rethink how users interacted with the product, creating an experience that better supports their goals while reinforcing the company's brand through a modern and cohesive interface.

FEEDBACK FROM CLIENT
After delivering the project, the client reported a great improvement on the navegation and overall flow of the product, resulting in actions that are faster to complete and more efficient.
One stakeholder in particular described the ease to do her daily tasks, and how the new visual is more appealing to the eyes and more organized, stopping the confusion the previous one caused regularly.
The feedbacks were positive and the client left satisfied with the redesign, only wanting to add more features, now that the user flow is better structured.
